Red Hot Blues 'n BBQ

This is nothing less than a spectacular summertime party complete with four live bands, DJs from all over spinning late until 5am, and perhaps the best food you'll find at a dance event!  Last year we made the most of our Memorial Day weekend with a crawfish boil, lots of BBQ, games, dancing at Dupont Circle, and so much great music.  We're excited to serve you up another delicious dance weekend this year.

Things will un-officially kick off Thursday night in the Back Room with our weekly dance. Then Friday night we'll have a live band from 9:00 till midnight. Late night dances will be held at our favorite little late night venue -- DuShor Dance Studio in Bethesda, MD.

Saturday's BBQ will be chilling next to a water park, with music, games, and catered by one of our favorite BBQ joints in the area. We're working hard to finalize things with our headlining band for Saturday night. Fingers crossed, and we'll announce that this week. Once again, we'll have late night over at DuShor.

Sunday will be this year's chill day at a beautiful park in DC.  Good times with friends and music in the nation's capital.  Then it's back to Glen Echo's Back Room for some more kickin' live music. 

And be sure to stick around that extra day!  Monday will be the annual BBQ competition featuring dishes that you prepare (should you decide to join the fray). Winners will win fun things, including extra money to help cover costs of the food itself. Plus, if you're able to beat them, you'll have the pleasure of watching Mike, Hyong, and Duane cry like little girls.  And just when you thought your little satisfied and artery-clogged heart couldn't take any more, step inside the air-conditioned building at the park for some fantastic live music to wrap up the weekend.
